The Best Weight Loss Training Program

0 commentaires
The thing is, there is no such thing as THE best weight loss training program, sorry to get your hopes up. What you will find, and something that is generally agreed upon within the fitness industry is that fitness is all about trial and error. So, a program that I use and works for me, may not necessarily work for you at all. Sure there are principles that should be universally applied such as rep range, rest periods, protein in grams per lbs of muscle etc, but by and large exclusivity reigns supreme.
So what does that mean? Well, the best weight loss training program for YOU then must be something you will have to develop over time through research and development. Do your due diligence and test concepts you read in magazines, or mimic exercises you see people who have attained a physique ideal for you and monitor your results.
Your routine should be designed with a comprehensive plan of attack for faster, better, long-lasting results. The more well-rounded, comprehensive, and thorough the weight loss program is, the higher the probability of success.
There is such an abundance of flash in the pan, fad training programs out there that is has become difficult as a consumer to properly filter them.
You have to ensure that you are equipped you with the logic and critical thinking necessary for not only selecting the best possible weight loss training program so you can achieve your goals, but also learn along the way.
Most importantly, you want to save you time, hassle, and money!
First off, let's establish our criteria of what exactly a weight loss training program is or should be:
-A comprehensive plan specifically designed to aid in the loss of body fat (obviously)
-Done for health, aesthetic or other reasons (obviously again)
-Combination of cardiovascular training, weight training, body-weight training, and nutrition
-Customizable per individual
-Created by a reputable individual or company
Let's take a quick look at the criteria to see why they are so vital in your weight loss journey.
First of all, a weight loss training program absolutely must be comprehensive or it simply will not work, and if it does happen to yield some results, they will be less dramatic and temporary.
What do I mean? If your entire program is centered around appetite control, you will certainly lose weight, which, most likely is what you after in the first place, however, the absence of a weight training aspect will cause you to lose lean muscle mass along the way which will reduce your metabolic rate and your strength.
Also, regarding the second point, your reason for undertaking the weight loss training program should be legitimate, believable, and compelling or it will be difficult if not impossible for you to actually follow through.
The point about a combination of all the areas involved in what we call fitness should be obvious but is definitely often overlooked. You know the old saying "the chain is only as strong as its weakest link", well when it comes to weight loss it is definitely true! The best weight loss program would have to include foolproof systems for every discipline within the fitness umbrella.
As I said earlier, the program has to fit your needs and play to your strengths, unfortunately, this will take some time to master but once you do, you will have the tools to achieve the physique and level of health you want with ease and precision!
The last point about credibility is vital. If a program sounds too good to be true, I'm sorry to tell you, but it probably is! Ensure that the program you choose has been constructed by a reputable source, and also remember that the proof is in the pudding!
So, if any program you are considering does not meet those criteria, you should definitely weigh your options and determine if it is indeed the proper system for you. I'm not saying that all of the new programs that come out are ineffective, and in fact there are some tremendous ones currently out that I not only use myself but adamantly suggest to anyone who will listen. In my opinion, the best weight loss program currently available is Turbulence Training. There is a link at the bottom of the page you should definitely check out!

Online Fitness - To Gym Or Not To Gym

0 commentaires
Gym at Work 3
In this article I am going to recommend that you should train at home using an online fitness program rather than use your local gym if you are intending to lose body fat and get fitter. You may not agree with this and have an alternative opinion, so the goal is to tell you why I think this would be useful to you.
Why choose an online fitness program using ideas, exercises and techniques you can get on the internet rather than go to a readily available gym? To answer this, it can be useful to look at the fitness trends in the last few years.
Nowadays, most people you talk to would confess to either having a gym membership, going to the gym regularly and in some cases, only ever working out at a gym. You may go to the gym yourself and probably have never considered that you could get all the fitness benefits training at home instead.
There are advantages in going to the gym to work out.
  • There is usually good quality and specific exercise equipment
  • There are personal trainers you can use
  • There are usually supporting facilities (saunas, jacuzzi, etc.)
However there are disadvantages that are more related to how you use the gym than what it offers in terms of facilities and equipment.
  • You do not visit the gym enough to justify your monthly subscription costs
  • You do not workout in a way to reach your specific fitness or weight loss goal
  • You spend much more time in the sauna, swimming pool or watching a DVD (as some gyms offer this service)
Because you may have a habit of going to the gym, or even just paying for the gym, it can be difficult to take a hard look at the pros and cons of how you are currently using it to get fitter or lose weight.
A large proportion of people I have come across do not use the gym as it should be used. It should be used to either specifically train your body for a measurable goal or to augment another training program. Most people believe that simply going to the gym will make them fitter. When this does not happen they either spend more time in the gym or work out more intensely. Neither of these will make you any fitter than you currently are or help you lose the weight that you have.
How can I say this with such certainty?
I can say this because if you are active and go to the gym but have not achieved the goal you had when you joined the gym, then you are not doing the correct exercises or applying a suitable technique to realise the goal. In addition it is costing you money every month with no payback. It would seem that all you are getting for your money is frustration and perhaps even a mounting dislike for having to visit the gym more.
This is where online fitness programs, information and techniques have a massive advantage. If you are already active then a lot of the exercises are familiar. What is different is the setting in which you do them and the method of how you put them together.
Most programs and advice only require basic equipment, for example: a skipping rope, an exercise mat and a timer.
The second advantage is that a lot of online fitness programs, specifically ones targeted at losing belly fat or getting a six-pack, substitute exercise duration for intensity. This means you learn to work out in high intensity bursts rather than have to spend long hours in the gym. This gives you more of your precious time back.
Some disadvantages are that you need to build up motivation to stick to the program and, for specific fitness goals, you may need to have specific exercise equipment, and so cannot work out at home.
However, for general fat loss and improved fitness, learning how to create your own home exercise program using online material is the best way to go, in my opinion. The actual process of creating your own set of exercises, meal recipes and plan is in itself a great motivator.
It pays to remember though that you will not get an instant result if you adopt an online fitness approach. The weight loss or fitness improvements will be gradual, but measurable.
If there is any direct instant result to switching to an online fitness program and working out at home, it will be a bigger bank balance from not having to pay gym subscription charges.
I understand that switching to a home exercise program may not be for everyone, but it can be rewarding if you choose to. To find out some more about an easy-to-implement method that I use, you can download my free report.

8 Cat Health Tips

0 commentaires
Cat health and cat food are closely related. We know that overfeeding leads to obesity which in turn is linked with feline Diabetes- with roughly 40% of cats being overweight.
Just like in humans ad excessive amount of food can lead to feline obesity. Some of the issues a cat can face are actually very similar to what a human can suffer from.
poor hair coat
4 x increase in Type 2 Diabetes
arthritis
hepatic lipidosis
The following 8 tips are here to help your cat health and advise you in helping your cat stay lean and trim and reduce their risk of the above main conditions.
1- Fee a restricted calorie reducing diet. A natural cat food alternative is to feed you cat a high protein, low carbohydrate and potentially high fiber diet which is a mimic of their natural diet. Any change in diet though needs to be consulted with a Vet.
2- Feed regular measured meals 2-3 times a day. When the cat has finished the bowel of food it must go without until the next feed.
3- Cat food from "your table" and treats are not wise to give cats. If you want to give a treat, minus some of their food and give it back to them as a treat.
4- Monitor to see what your cat actually does. Does it go next door to get fed thus reducing the benefits that you are doing?
5- Chart the cats weight per week. It should lose about 1% of their body weight per week. Drastic weight loss or increase is then wise to seek vet assistance.
6- Provide daily exercise and human companionship. This is especially noted for indoor cats who have a reduced exercise plan anyway. Also make your cat work for it's food- put it in different areas so that they have to "hunt for it".
7- L-carnitine can be helpful in reducing your cats weight and it tends to increase lean body mass- which will help in your cat health. Any supplement will need vet approval.
8- When the ideal weight is obtained we need to keep it level. This can only be done with proper balanced food intake coupled with exercise.
Most of what we are finding with cat health is directly related to human interference in their natural DNA which does not require a cat to be fat, lethargic and unstimulated.
How can we help our cat with their health and diet? How about if we make the cats food at home easily and quickly?: Cat food making tips.

Vegetarian Diet Weight Loss Theory

0 commentaires

Vegetarians are people who don't consume any meat or seafood. It's commonly asked whether a vegetarian diet and weight loss are related. There are many reasons why people choose a vegetarian diet including religious beliefs, ethical reason, health benefits and diets.
The three common types of vegetarianism are
1. Vegans- plant foods are only consumed
2. Lacto Vegetarians- meat, seafood and eggs are avoided but plant and dairy foods are included.
3. Lacto Ovo Vegetarians- meat and seafood is avoided, dairy (milk/eggs/etc) and plant foods.

Studies supporting the vegetarian diet weight loss theory
• A nutritional review compiling data from various studies demonstrated that a vegetarian diet is effective for weight loss.
• Studies show generally vegetarians have a lower body, between 3-20 percent lower than the weight of meat eaters. Generally a vegetarian's calorie intake is lower, most likely due to vegetables being lower in calories than meat. Also the high amount of fibre consumed helps to curb hunger.
• It has also been proven that people can consume unlimited amounts of high-fibre foods like fruits, vegetables and whole grains to reach or maintain a healthy weight without feeling hungry.
• Evidence also suggests that a vegetarian diet burns more calories after a meal and that plant foods are used more efficiently as fuel for the body rather than being stored as fat.
Benefits of a vegetarian weight loss diet
• Rates of obesity in vegetarians range from 0-6 percent. Meat eaters are more likely to be over weight than vegetarians.
• Vegetarians are less likely to develop obesity related diseases such as heart disease, cancer and diabetes.

How you can gain weight being on a vegetarian for weight loss diet
• Although you cut out animal products you can still gain high amounts of calories from other foods if you are not paying attention.
• If you are consuming more calories than your body burns in a day then you will put on weight regardless of whether you are vegetarian or not.

Vegetarian diet weight loss theory recommendation
• Many studies have proven and support the vegetarian diet weight loss theory. Even without changes in exercise or limiting portion sizes it has proven to promote your body to lose weight.
• As long as you are sticking to healthy options and consuming less calories than you burn then you will be losing weight. On average vegetarians consume around 500 less calories making it faster for you to lose weight.
• You also need to be sure that you are still getting enough protein. If you are switching from a meat eating diet then most of your protein would have been coming from the meat you were consuming. You can maintain your protein levels by eating legumes, nuts and soy products throughout the diet.
• It is essential to plan your meals, drink lots of water and maintain limited carbohydrates in your diet.
• Although you can and most likely will lose weight from using a vegetarian diet for weight loss, if it is only a temporary diet, once you introduce meat back into your regular diet you're likely to slowly gain the weight back.
• I would suggest making life style changes, healthier choices and to consume less calories.

Easy Exercises To Lose Weight

0 commentaires
Losing weight does not have to be hard because there are many easy exercises that will help you lose weight. When most people think about losing weight, they think about going on a diet. While changing how much or what you eat for healthier options is good, you will not lose much weight unless you get up and get moving.

Most people overlook the benefit of walking. If you are walking, you are burning calories. You don't need any extra equipment or expensive memberships. Walking can be done anywhere. You can walk around your house, your neighborhood, or your office on your coffee break. You can walk through a mall and look at all the new things for sell while you get healthier. You can walk around a park and enjoy nature. You don't even have to set aside 30 minutes to do it. Just park in the parking spot farthest from your job, or school, or doctor's office. Every extra step you can take today adds to how many calories your body will burn. So add 5 minutes walking time to every errand you run and you will see a difference soon.

You have your radio on to your favorite station and you notice your foot is tapping to the beat. So why not put that energy and beat to use. Get out of your chair and dance to the beat. You don't have to know how to dance. Just move your body in any way that feels good to you. As long as you are moving, you are burning calories. Dancing using all of the muscles in your body, not just a few. Before you know it an hour has passed. But you never noticed as you were having too much fun dancing around to Lady Gaga and Beyonce.

Housework and the tasks of daily living can be as good as exercise if you do it right. Instead of using the electric mixer to mix batter for those pancakes, get out the whisk and use some arm muscles. Instead of using that leaf blower to clean up those leaves, grab the rake and a wheel barrow, and get to enjoying the sun while you make leaf piles. Instead of hiring a lawn service to cut your grass, or using the riding lawn mower, get out your push mower and get to pushing. Choose to use a real paint brush to repaint the fence and put the paint sprayer back in the garage. When you vacuum, move the sofa out of the way and then move it back when you are done. Leave the laundry basket in the laundry room, and go up and down the stairs with each persons' dirty clothes. The more you go up and down, the more calories you burn. Take the batteries out of the remote controls so that you have to get up to turn the channel. Leave the phone on the charger so that you have to walk to the phone whenever it rings. Park closest to the street whenever you go somewhere. Walk up the stairs or escalator instead of riding the elevator. Play with your kids instead of watch.

Walking is something everyone can do. Dancing is very fun. Housework is something you do every day. But, if you choose so, these activities can be wonderful and easy ways to lose weight.

Healthy Weight Loss Program - Fiber Is Important

0 commentaires
Having a healthy weight loss program is important if you want to win the battle against the bulge. But unfortunately, most people don't even know where to begin. They know that they want to lose those unwanted pounds but they are not sure where to begin.
Finding a plan that takes the guess work out of reaching your goal is important. And that is why it is so important that you get a healthy weight loss program. A program that will keep you accountable and stay on track to reach your goal.
So today we will talk about fiber and its role in getting the results you need.
Fiber is divided into two groups: Soluble and Insoluble
Soluble Fiber- 3 Things You Should Know
1. Soluble fiber dissolves in water, it will move through your body fast
2. It will form a gel like substance that will trap sugar fats in your body and allow it to move quickly through your intestines
3. It will act like a new broom and will literally sweep away all the unwanted material from your intestines thus making you feel lighter with more energy and vitality.
So if you want to be successful with your weight goals then you want to get as much soluble fiber in your diet as possible. Examples of soluble fiber are: apples, oat bran and beans.
The second fiber that you want in your diet is insoluble fiber.
Insoluble Fiber- 3 Things You Should Know
1. This fiber does not dissolve
2. Insoluble fiber acts like a sponge by soaking up the water in your body, this is good because it gives you the feel of being full, and thus you do not over eat.
3. It helps to pass food through the digestive system which promotes regularity
Examples of insoluble fiber are: the skin of most fruits and vegetables, grapes, prunes, apple skin, berry beets, carrots just to name a few.
Understanding how both fibers work on your body and your overall health will help you to properly consume these daily. When you are trying to get rid of those unwanted pounds it is a good item to get your favorites fruits and vegetable on hand when you need a snack. But you might also want to get some fruits and vegetables that might not be your favorites too just because of all the fiber content they might contain.
In concluding, fiber is very important in a healthy weight loss program, and if you want to get rid of fat the right way, you will need to incorporate it into your daily diet.

5 Things You Need to Know About Abdominal Fat

0 commentaires
5-things-you-need-to-know-about your absThe amount of diet programs available has increased significantly in recent years with making outrageous claims of achieving weight loss. But are these programs as effective as they make out? Well, generally speaking, not exactly. One of the reasons why some diet programs do not work is because they are usually too generic. Rather than purchasing a one-size fits all diet, it is more advisable to take factors such as your body shape, age and gender into consideration. There are also some really good programs out their which devise a food and exercise regime based on your metabolism. These types of diets tend to have better long term success because they are catering to your specific metabolic needs.
Here some interesting points about belly fat which may help you come up with your own fat burning strategy:
1.) Belly Fat is one of the Worst kinds of fat
As well as looking unattractive in your bikini pictures, abdominal fat churns out hormones and proteins that can have a detrimental affect on cholesterol and blood sugar. Belly fat can also play a part in insulin resistance and inflammation.
2.) It's not just about the calories
Whole grains and beans are a great substitute for refined grains. Swap your white bread and white pasta for wholegrain alternatives and you could see that belly fat drop away. Lentils, chickpeas and kidney beans with salmon or tuna are also good fat burning options.
3.) Is Vinegar you weight loss friend?
Vinegar, in particular, apple cider vinegar is often marketed as a weigh loss aid. The primary reason for this is because most types of vinegar contain acetic acid which is marketed to have a some effect on body weight. A 2009 study from the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, found that mice which were fed a high fat diet and given acetic acid had approximately 10 per cent less body fat compared to mice that were not given acetic acid. The researchers of the study suggested that acetic acid may prevent the build up of body fat by activating genes involved in the fat breakdown process. However, they have stated that it was too soon to tell whether acetic acid might provide weight loss benefits in humans.
4.) Stress
It seems that you really can blame your terrible job or your noisy neighbour for your belly fat problems after all. Studies suggest that the higher your stress levels the bigger your waist is. When you are suffering from stress it elevates the cortisol hormone which makes the body crave high calorie foods that are stored in your belly as fat. That does not mean that you need to quit your job but it could be a good idea to look at stress reduction techniques such as yoga, meditation or exercise.
5.) Eating More Can Shrink Your Waist
There are quite a few studies which show that eating small meals approximately six times a day can actually be more beneficial to losing weight then eating large meals. However the key to success of this is ensuring that you are eating the right kind of foods in small portions. Whole grains, lean meats and fibre are some good options to eat in reduced quantities.
Remember, your belly fat loss is your quality of life's gain.
